Bombé oval with gadrooned rim and raised on four paw feet headed by wild lion masks, each side applied with a cartouche engraved with a coat-of-arms within an elaborate foliate and rocaille mantle, with two foliate scroll loop handles centered by shells, the domed cover with gadrooned border and fully modeled leafy pomegranate finial, engraved on both sides with a lizard crest, with removable silver-plated liner, marked on underside and cover, the finial apparently unmarked
