The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A guitarist-- with some restorations and touch-ups to the head of his guitar

An organist riding an unclothed monkey-- with restoration to the unclothed monkey's tail and back left foot
A bagpiper-- with a loss to the horn of his bagpipe
A hurdy-gurdy player-- with a chip to one peg on her instrument
Eight singers, in various poses-- the example with green overcoat with restoration to her fingers and both feet, one foot possibly replaced; the example with a plain pale yellow overcoat with her right arm broken and reattached just above the elbow.
