The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Previously lower border and small section of lower section of field was folder under and sewn and covered with a later backing, which has now been undone. Thus, the backing does not extend fully to the bottom of the tapestry on the reverse. The exposed areas with some fabric patches sewn on reverse for stabilizing old restorations. With scattered slits throughout, some repaired. Scattered small holes and losses. Scattered reweaves throughout with the largest being, but not limited to, an approximately 2ft. by 2in. reweave in lower end of field, two approximately 6in. by 4in. patches north of long reweave. Further smaller patches and reweaves throughout, some discolored. Scattered surface dirt and spot stains. Some fraying and small nicks and losses to all four sides. Sound fabric, will enhance with restoration to slits and fraying areas. Appears to be complete.
