The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
There has been about a 1/2 in. of shrinkage to the top, it is presently about 191⁄2 in. wide by 20 in. deep, which is a positive sign of age. The bearers have been repositioned and are probably later replacements. The top is possibly associated as stated in the cataloguing, and is in need of a good wax, appears to have some staining to one half as visible in catalogue photos. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. One side of the top and two pieces of the pie-crust have been re-glued after breaking, one toe has an old glue repair to the side. Two feet have later pads, one has a veneered base, the top and base possibly associated. Lacking the pin which secures the top to the base. The table is structurally firm.
