Each with a cartouche-shaped back and serpentine frame carved all-over with rocaille, flowers, scrolls and trailing acanthus, on cabriole legs with scrolling feet, the backs, arms and drop-in seats covered in voided velvet, one stamped 'GHC 977' to the front rail and 'GH' to the back rail, the other stamped 'GHC 984' to the front rail and with a partial illegible stamp and stenciled 'DELH' to the back rail
