The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Very good condition overall. There are two small losses to turquoise enamel to the lower rim under St George's feet, measuring around 0.5 cm. each. There are very small insignificant retouches to the wings of both angels. Icons with minor craquelure, as might be expected. Otherwise, general surface wear, rubbing to gilding and scratching to silver consistent with age.
