The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition. The wood structure with scattered age and construction cracks; the wood strips around the edges of the box replaced. Overall with some evidence of previous woodworm, now inactive. The mirror plates with the expected scratches at front and scattered losses to silvering at their backs, typical of age; some of the framing plates appear older than others, as evidenced by their unevenness and differing levels of oxidation to the silvering. There is some separation to mirror plates, particularly at corners, generally obstructed by repousse elements. Overall with losses, replacements and small breaks to metal moldings. Good order overall, ready to hang.
