The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall in good order. The ormolu with some minor surface scratches, slight casting inconsistencies, light oxidation and rubbing, as to be expected. As stated in the cataloguing, the girandoles have been electrified with up-lights, drilled in the process and some wiring adhered to the surfaces. The candle-nozzles are not electrified, and can still receive candles; some verdigris and wax residue at their interiors. Some breaks, replacements and losses to the glass elements as is typical, including chips to many of the large drops close to the lower ends of the girandoles. Ready to place.
