The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good presentation. Generally with abrasions, scratches, scuffs and some light dents as expected from age and use. The decoration with some minor rubbing, craquelure, flaking and losses. There are some refreshments to the decoration, including to the faces; some inpainting around the base of one. As stated in the cataloguing, the undersides redecorated, with later inscriptions. Examination under UV reveals an apparent varnish throughout. Overall good, stable condition.
