The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition. Regilt, with scattered chips, losses to carving and gilt surfaces revealing gesso, bole and bare wood in areas as to be expected with age. Each with occasional cracks and old repairs, mainly obscured by the later gilding; one with two cracks and the other with one tight crack to the molded edge around the plate. The later plates with minor scattered losses to silvering commensurate with age. The backing to each plate is later. Overall in good order.
