The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall good presentation. Generally with abrasions, scratches, scuffs and some light dents as expected from age and use. The decoration with some minor rubbing, craquelure, flaking and losses, most prominently near the base on one side of one cache-pot. As stated in the cataloguing, there are some refreshments to the decoration, and one is largely redecorated; the gilding to both refreshed throughout. Examination under UV reveals an apparent varnish throughout. The interiors with some oxidation and marks, particularly to the bottoms, as expected. Overall good, stable condition, ready to place.
