The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Very good condition overall. Some minor wear and surface scratching to the silver, the enamel with some minor scratches and wear and a few tiny losses.
The painted icon with craquelure to the surface and a few paint losses under the oklad. The velvet backing with some minor wear, fading, and staining.

The wooden case with some minor wear and a few tiny nicks and scratches to the wood exterior, the easel back tight, the interior with more extensive fraying, staining, and fading to the white silk inside the two doors, the red silk and velvet lining of the center also with some wear, fading, and staining.
