Shaped circular with raised sides, embossed and chased in centre with a fishing scene featuring a fox dressed in damask jacket and with a jester hat within a frame of laurel leaves, around four animals featuring a dog, a fox, a pig and a bear, the sides with large flowers, shells and scrolls, engraved underneath with monogram 'VS', marked inside rim; later French control mark
