The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The Meissen porcelain figures and basket are circa 1750. The porcelain flowers are of very good quality and could probably be made at Vincennes or Sèvres. A few of the flowers are possibly 19th century in date.
Condition
Overall in remarkably good condition for age and type. A very attractive, unusual and decorative composition with only very minor damage to the composite parts. Overall some minor wear to enamels and gilding.

Putti
Astrology putto (holding a telescope) - in good order.
Painting putto (holding a palette and a relief medallion) - his right hand restored with associated restoration to the edge of the relief medallion. Palette with restored chipping to edge. Narrow area of chipping to one edge of base, small chip to one corner of base and small chip to front of base below his left foot.
Music putto (holding a lute) - tiny chips to lute pegs.
Music putto (holding a music score) - one half of score chipped and lacking; very fine glaze hairline crack to nose and one cheek.
Mathematics putto (holding a sheet of paper with numerals on it) - in good order.
Geometry putto (holding a compass and scroll of paper) - both compass points chipped and lacking.
Georgraphy putto (holding a globe and dividers) - one dividers point chipped and lacking, otherwise in good order.
Basket
The pierced basket in good order.
Porcelain flowers
A few flowers with small chips and losses to tips of petals. Some very minor flaking to enamels.
Ormolu base
In good condition, with minor signs of tarnishing and verdigris. Regilt.
