The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Provisional condition report
There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.
As stated in the catalogue, one ormulu element of the square base is missing.
Guilding: With signs of tarnishing especially to both feet.
The ormulu elements of the square base are slightly loose.
Patinated bronze: With some scratches especially to the lower part of one base.
Marble: There is a restoration to one corner of one base.
There are some minor chips and losses to the edges of both bases.
