The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good overall condition.
There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches, shrinkage cracks and rubbing consistent with age and use.
There are some traces of restorations with 'gomme laque' paste filling especially to the central drawers.
There are some traces of holes which have been refilled to the top of the uprights probably due to former bronze elements which are now removed.
With white marks to the back left foot.
Restoration to the veneer with mahogany, to the feet.
Gilding : is slightly tarnished especially to the mounts of the feet.
With traces of verdigris to the handles.
Leather : is worn as expected. With losses, marks, scratches and scuff marks.
With traces of reinforced pieces now removed.
