Ingot shaped, chased overall with diaper pattern within curved borders, the cover, sides, and underside with cartouches centered by floral sprays and trophies of gardening against engraved rays, marked on interior base, and side with date letter V, maker's mark, and charge mark for Eloy Brichard, 1756-1762, the flange with decharge mark, further marked twice with French import mark 1864-1893
