The mahogany with chips, dents, minor losses, some discolored infill and sun fading in areas. Two legs with repaired cracks at their tops. Vernis decoration under the frieze mounts, simulating avenutrine, and to the top are later, the top now with cracks, chips, water rings, abrasions and small losses to lacquer; the largest loss is to the wing of one butterfly; approx. 1 in. by 1.5 in. with underlying gilding visible.
