The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition. The ormolu and patinated bronze with some minor surface scratches, casting flaws, verdigris and rubbing, as to be expected. The marble with light scratches throughout and some chips and 'nibbles' throughout, consistent with age and handling; there are two cracks to the proper right side of the square case. The trophy at top slightly loose but not unstable; the ball feet are later. The glazing over the dial with light scratches, commensurate with age. The dial also with light scratches and hairlines, some small chips around the winding holes with some touch-up that has later yellowed. The bell previously in two pieces, now with a solder repair. Some dust to recessed areas, should benefit from a gentle cleaning. Ready to place.
