In the Louis XVI style, the breakfront brèche d'alep marble top above a frieze with egg-and-dart moulding and ribbon-tied laurel wreath swags, on six scrolled and footed guilloché decorated legs headed by scrolling acanthus and terminating in hairy paw feet, joined by a shaped stretcher centred by an acanthus and berry boss
