In the Louis XVI style, the rectangular top crossbanded with breakfront and recessed outline, inset with a panel of tooled dark green leather, with a moulded brass border and crossbanded edge, with one long frieze drawer flanked by two short drawers to both sides, the drawer fronts veneered a quatre faces, crossbanded and bordered with foliate and beaded moulding, applied with ribbon-tied laurel-wreath escutcheons and foliate-cast handles, on square tapering fluted legs headed with panels with foliate berried paterae hung with drapery and terminating in acanthus leaf knopped square gaitered feet joined by feather veneered cross stretchers centred by foliate paterae
