The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are some minor inevitable knocks, dents, marks and chips to the gilding and carving overall, consistent with age and use.
As stated in the cataloguing, re-gilt. There are some chips to the gilding revealing the gesso layer beneath.
There is a slight build up of dust to the crevices.
Some separation to the joints and repairs to the carved decoration.
The foliate cresting has been re-attached.
The mirror plates apparently largely original and in good condition with some minor foxing and chips to the extremities.
Structurally sound and ready to hang.
