The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The bronze has several casting flaws including to the top of Venus' head, the underside of her proper right arm, the drapery over her proper right bicep and proper right hip, the latter two have been infilled to make them less apparent.
The associated socle with several large cracks and losses to the gilding. The bronze has been unevenly set into it with plaster.
