The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable marks, chips and scratches consistent with age and use.
The associated marble top with some chips to the edges.
The gilding is fairly chipped and worn, particularly to the frieze and would benefit from sympathetic restoration.
There is some separation to the joins along the lines of construction and to the stretcher.
Otherwise structurally sound and ready to place.
