Modelled as a maiden and putto holding a globe within an arbor surrounded by trailing flower bowers, the putto on a square plinth containing a watch mechanism with white enamel dial, gilt handles and Arabic chapters, with two candle branches cast as scrolling foliate sprays, with a mirrored back on a rectangular plinth base with rosettes and a foliate swag, losses to the porcelain flowers, the porcelain figures with Meissen blue crossed swords

Possibly acquired by Lady Charlotte Schreiber (1812-1895), formerly Guest,
thence by descent to the present owner.
