Details
Each shaped oval on four foliate scroll feet, with conforming side handles, the body embossed and chased with swirling lobes underneath an egg-and-dart border, and with rococo cartouches in centre, the domed cover with cast and chased preying eagle finial, marked underneath and on cover flange, engraved underneath with scratchweights 127:1 and 123:7

The arms are those of Guest impaling Spencer-Churchill for Sir Ivor Bertie Guest 2nd Bt, later 1st Baron Wimborne (1835-1914) and his wife Lady Cornelia Henrietta Maria Spencer-Churchill, daughter of John Winston Spencer-Churchill, 7th Duke of Marlborough whom he married in 1868.
