Details
Each shaped oval, of bombé form, on four shell feet with rocaille terminal, the plain body applied with two scroll handles and with gadrooned rim, the conforming cover with pomegranate finial, engraved twice on body with a coat-of-arms and on cover with crest in foliate cartouche, marked underneath and on covers, engraved underneath No1 99:0 and No 2 99:5, the covers engraved No 1 and No 2

The arms are those of Dutton impaling Bond, for James Lenox Dutton (c.1713-1776) of Sherborne Park, Gloucestershire and his second wife Jane (c.1712-1776), daughter of Christopher Bond (1682-1739), whom he married in 1743.
