The shaped Languedoc marble top, above a pierced frieze carved with scroll and strapwork carved frieze with grotesque masks, on compound ogee supports headed by masks and decorated with dragons, on scrolled feet joined by a gadrooned shaped and diaper-incised platform carved with a shell issuing a foliate staff
