The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In country house condition.
There are the inevitable marks, chips and tarnishing due to age and use.
The caning to the splat and seat to each chair is tarnished with some fraying.
Each leather squab cushion is fairly worn.
The pattern chair with a number of pegged repairs including to the outscrolled arms, the stretcher where it joins the front legs, there is also a spliced repair to the central upright to the splat. The laburnum H stretcher is replaced also the front and back seat rails. It was previously upholstered now with later caning. Inscribed '£33' and 'Wimborne House' in blue chalk to the underside.
