The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In good overall condition.
There are the inevitable minor nicks, marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
The grey painted decoration rubbed at highpoints revealing exposed timber.
Some typical minor separation at construction joins. Some shrinkage cracks, such as to the front left paterae of one chair.

The underside with later block supports at angles, by legs.
The seatrails strengthened with later wooden fillets above original rails. Consequential re-pegging and traces of glue.
Each chair with a printed paper label to the underside numbered '193753'.
The brown leather upholstery in very smart almost-new condition.
Minor traces of old woodworm, now apparently inactive.
Highly decorative, structurally stable and ready to use.
