The work appears to be composed of eight pieces of paper joined along slightly visible seams and laid down on a board. Some of the joins have small associated cracks and have possibly been restored. Minor frame abrasion along the extreme edges with a few associated losses. Scattered artist pinholes, some of which have remnants of adhesive. An approximately seven-inch vertical repaired tear along the lower left edge near the seated woman in red. One approximately six-inch horizontal surface abrasion in the upper left background. The paper is slightly toned and slightly dirty.
