The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good decorative condition, structurally secure and ready to place. Overall with nicks, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. With some scattered small cracks and losses to the carving, as to be expected. A few small nocks and gauges to the wood. With minor separation to the joints. The back leg brackets later. Feet generally worn. The surface refinished but of an even tone. The marble possibly original; with natural inclusions. With some scattered 'nibbles', nicks and small losses; some scattered infill.
