The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With a clean, complete recently restored appearance, structurally sound and ready to use. Regilt, and with minor overall rubbing, chipping and losses to frames typical with age/use. The stretchers possibly original, as stated, are rebraced at the center and one with a repair to the join to the back left leg. The stretcher to one broken on one area. Frames with evidence of worm damage, particularly to one back seat rail which has an old stabilized break. This is visible from the back but the chair is stable. Some old masking tape to edges of rails to hide remnants of old scrims. The upholstery with some wear and light staining. The stretchers possibly original.
