The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall in good decorative order with typical glaze crazing, patches of loss to enamels and glaze (particularly at rims), surface scratching and fritting throughout. Variations in colour and weight of pieces.
Three large circular two-handled soup-tureens and two covers -- one with extensive staining and crazing, one cover with 2 cm. flat chip to underside of rim, one tureen with footrim chipping and small patches of glaze loss and short hairline crack to one handle, one cover with chipping to flange, one tureen with 1 cm. chip to rim above handle.
Three smaller circular two-handled soup-tureens and covers -- one with upper section of twist to one handle broken and lacking, one cover with 3 cm. chip to underside of rim and 1 cm. section of chipping to rim itself and spreading hairline cracks to underside, one tureen with footrim chipping, another cover with minor chipping to rim.
Two circular two-handled vegetable-tureens and covers -- one cover with 1 cm. flat chip to underside of rim.
Six double-lipped two-handled sauce-boats on fixed stands -- one with small rim chip and crack extending from it, one with more heavily stained crazing, two with slight rim chipping.
A double-lipped two-handled sauce-boat and stand -- with short crack to upper terminal of handle.
Four large footed bowls in sizes -- in good decorative order.
Three shallow footed bowls -- one stained to well.
Eleven shaped oval dishes -- one with significant misfiring to underside, a few with some staining, one more heavily stained.
Eleven footed stands -- two with heavier staining.
A footed shallow comport -- in good decorative order.
Five oval serving-platters in sizes -- the smallest with some stained crazing and scratching.
Four circular serving-dishes -- one with 2 cm. overpainted rim chip.
Four large circular plates -- three with some staining, one of these with stained hairline cracks to well.
Two slightly smaller -- one stained.
Four large circular shallow bowls -- in good decorative order.
One hundred soup-plates (27 cm. diameter) -- one with stained hairline crack to well, about eight with more significant staining and crazing.
One hundred and sixty-seven luncheon-plates (29 cm. diameter) -- eight with slight rim chipping, about eleven with slightly heavier stained crazing, one with a 6 cm. crack to edge of well.
Twenty-three starter-plates (22.5 cm. diameter) -- six with heavier stained crazing, about five with minute rim chipping.
Thirty-two dessert-plates (21 cm. diameter) -- one with 1 cm. flat chip to underside of rim, one with minute rim chipping.
