Oval box, the cover, sides and base set with panels of translucent orange enamel over an engine-turned ground of wavy lines scattered with flowerheads within white enamelled pearl border, the rims and miniature frame enamelled with clusters of white opalescent pearl interspaced with green foliage and blue flowerheads, the cover centred with an enamel oval miniature of a courting couple in the manner of Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun
