Lot Essay

Max Hermann Fritz studied under Lorenz Hutschenreuther in Lichte, Thuringia. He worked in bronze and in porcelain for the Meissen manufactory and for Rosenthal, and was mostly known for small animal models. This unsual model for a clock case appears to be unique.
