The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good country house condition.
There are the inevitable minor nicks, marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
There are minor areas of tarnish overall, particularly to the highpoints of one candelabrum.
As stated in the catalogue, the candelabra have been pierced for electricity, to the bases, branches drip-pans and nozzles.
One candelabrum with a repaired break to one branch, with consequential re-gilding to conceal re-soldering.
There are some losses and replacements to the flowerheads and branches of the central flower sprays of the upper sections. The central flower of one candelabrumlacking its inside petals, the central rose-head of the other probably a later replacement.
Some drip-pans replaced.
