The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall with minor surface wear and wear to gilding; some scattered imperfections in the making and minor fritting, primarily to the edges; further condition noted below.
An oval soup tureen, cover and stand; 103⁄4 in. (27.3 cm.) high, 141⁄4 in. (26.2 cm.) long over handles (the tureen), 143⁄8 in. (36.6 cm.) long (the stand) – the cover flange with a small chip and very shallow rim ship to the underside; otherwise good condition.
Pair of oval vegetable tureens and covers; 103⁄4 in. (27.2 cm.) long – overall good condition; minor wear.
Pair of shaped rectangular vegetable tureens and covers; 91⁄2 in. (24.2 cm.) long – one cover with a very small glaze loss to one corner, otherwise good condition.
Three tazza in graduated sizes; 45⁄8 in. (11.7 cm.) high, 91⁄2 in. (23.5 cm.) diameter (the largest tazza), 43⁄4 in. (12.1 cm.) high, 10 in. (25.4 cm.) diameter (the second largest tazza), 37⁄8 in. (9.8 cm.) high, 91⁄8 in. (23.1 cm.) diameter (the smaller tazza) – each in overall good condition.
A butter tub, cover and stand; 61⁄8 in. (15.5 cm.) long – each with wear to the enamels; the stand with a shallow rim chip.
A quatrefoil salad bowl; 91⁄4 (23.5 cm.) wide – light wear to enamels; flat rim chip.
Two large oval platters in sizes; 183⁄8 in. (46.7 cm.) long (the larger platter), 161⁄2 in. (42 cm.) long (the smaller platter) – some rubbing to the enamels at the centers and wells; the larger with a few very minute flat rim chips; the smaller with two small firing cracks to the rim.
Two small oval platters in sizes; 111⁄2 in. (29.4 cm.) long (the larger platter), 101⁄2 in. (26.8 cm.) long (the smaller platter) – the smaller platter with two small chips to the footrim.
A pair of small oval stands; 81⁄8 in. (20.6 cm.) long – light wear to enamels; each with small flat rim chips.
Teapot with domed cover; 81⁄2 in. (21.6 cm.) high, 11 in. (27.9 cm.) long over handle – small flat glaze chip to cover; light wear to enamels, otherwise good condition.
A milk jug; 41⁄4 in. (10.8 cm.) high – minor surface wear and light rubbing to enamel.
Twenty-four dinner plates; 95⁄8 in. (24.5 cm.) diameter – some stacking wear and rubbing to the enamels and gilding; few with firing cracks to the underside and to the rim; light fritting to the edges; two with a small rim chip, one with a small footrim chip; one with an approx. 1 in. wide rim chip and associated very faint rim line; another with a very small rim chip and associated very faint rim line; two with a very small flat chip to the reverse rim; one with a footrim flaw.
Fifteen side plates; 77⁄8 in. (20 cm.) diameter -- some stacking wear and rubbing to the enamels and gilding; one with a tiny rim chip; one with a firing flaw to the rim and a few small losses to the footrim.
A small side plate; 7 in. (18 cm.) diameter – minute flat rim chip.
Twelve teacups and saucers; 61⁄4 in. (16 cm.) diameter, the saucer – with light rubbing to enamels and gilt decoration; the saucers with stacking wear and several with small firing cracks; one teacup with small footrim chip, a few with some nibbling to the footrim, one with a light chipping, one with handle restuck; one saucer with a minute rim chip and shallow glaze loss to reverse rim; one with an approx. 2 in. crescent-shaped section restuck at the rim and two further rim lines, another with a crescent-shaped section restuck at the rim; two with some light rim chipping; one with a filled-in triangular-shaped rim chip and associated crack spanning the diameter; one with a very minute glaze loss to the reverse rim and a rim line; two with a short rim line to the reverse rim.
A small saucer; 6 in. (15.5 cm.) diameter – An approx. 3 in. long crescent-shaped section at the rim restuck and with further glaze lines; some light rim chipping.
