The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The painting is executed on a single masonite panel. There is minor surface soiling and yellowing to the paint layer. There is minor frame abrasion to the edges. Under ultraviolet light, the canvas presents with a milky green varnish. There are scattered pinpoints of retouching, including to the edges and to the tree branches at right.
