The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In overall good condition. The onyx bowl and plinth with natural inclusions. The bowl with a restored break fron the center to the underside and associated infilled repairs, as well as another infilled crack to the left of restoration. The base with a restored break to one corner with associated infiilled repair, and small chipped loss to underside of plinth. With some light surface scratching and small 'nibbles' as to be expected. The glass liner with light surface scratching and a two small spots of adhesive residue. The silvered and gilt bronze with typical light rubbing, some oxidation and areas of tarnish. Some losses to the silvering, not extensive, including to the legs of the peacocks.
