The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall stable condition and ready to place. The alabaster with scattered surface nicks and scratches, natural inclusions, and minor 'nibbling' to edges. The ormolu with light surface scratches, rubbing and tarnish. The tier borders with a little more tarnish and staining to ormolu. Sunfaded and with minor abrasions throughout, both as expected with age and use. Horizontal shrinkage crack to lowest tier.
