The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The body with some scattered small bruises and dings, most notable to the bottom of the tureen and the long sides. Surface scratches and wear consistent with age and use. Engraving probably removed from one side of the tureen, but well-done and not thin.
