The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition and ready to place. The fret carving with some polish in recesses but overall with a pleasing deep tone. With some scattered minor restorations and small areas of infill to the molding on the legs and frieze. The top with scattered light scratches, nicks, a few minor abrasions and wear commensurate with age. With some sunfading overall, particularly to the open tabletop. The egg-and-dart molding with rubbing to high points. The concertina action slightly sticky but stable. Later caps to underside of legs. The inner hinges of the concertina action have been slightly repositioned which prevents the slide from going forward (to stabilize the extension); this will require some minor adjustments.
