The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall with some minor scratches and wear to the gilding consistent with age and use, some wear to the chasing at the high points, a minor ding to the shoulder of John George I, and a shallow bruise to the body to the right of John George II, the upper rim very slightly out of round, the base with some areas of excess solder where the inset medallion is attached slightly obscuring some of the text to the underside, generally in good condition.
