Modeled as a sleigh with winged swan head and scrolled runners, with a putto driving at the front with chain-form reigns, and a second putto pushing from the rear, the oval basket pierced and chased with scrolls and swags of flowers, each side with a medallion of courting couples in 18th century garb below trophies of the arts, with a removable cobalt glass liner, marked on side of runner, maker's mark unidentified
