The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The kendi -- overall good condition; fritting and glaze chips to the edges; glaze losses to the base of the neck and spout; scatttered imperfections in the making; 71⁄4 in. (18.4 cm.) high, 6 in. (15.2 cm.) diameter.
The pear-form vase -- overall good condition; scattered imperfections in the making; some fritting and glaze loss to the rim; a small glaze bubble to the body near the foot and some losses to the foot; two luting lines encircling the body at its widest point and where it meets the neck; 11 in. (28 cm.) high, 6 in. (15.2 cm.) diameter.
The dish -- overall good condition; very minor surface wear and wear to gilding; a few scattered very small imperfections and firing cracks; one firing crack to the rim with associated glaze line; very minor fritting to the rim; 101⁄2 in. (26.7 cm.) diameter.
The bottle vase -- overall good condition; wear to the gilding, particularly to the gilt decoration encircling the widest point of the body; scattered very small imperfections in the making, the interior potted with five strainer holes at the base of the neck; 63⁄4 in. (17.2 cm.) diameter.
