The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Each in overall good condition; minor surface wear and wear to gilt decoration; scattered small nicks, chips and losses; overall with the gilding refreshed; scattered imperfections in the making; present well. Further condition noted below.
The oval tureen, cover and stand -- the tureen and cover in good condition; the stand with a small glaze bubble to the center; 73⁄4 in. high, 111⁄4 in. long over handles (the tureen and cover), 13 in. long (the stand).
The pair of large oval platters -- each in overall good condition; 143⁄4 in. long.
The circular dish -- a starcrack starting at 10 o'clock of the well, otherwise good condition; 111⁄2 in. diameter.
The leaf-form sauceboat and stand -- the sauceboat with a shallow glaze chip to the well, small shallow chips to the lower and upper handle terminals; the stand in overall good condition; 8 in. long (the stand).
The butter tub, cover and stand -- the tub and cover in overall good condition; the stand with an approx. 1 in. rim line to the reverse rim; 6 in. diameter (the stand).
