The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In sound condition and ready to hang. The giltwood with rubbing revealing gesso and bole beneath. With several scattered restorations to pierced decoration, especially to extremities of carving. Squirrels have a slightly different wash to back but are apparently original. Mirror plate has attractive bluish tone but the upper edge is precisely cut, possibly an old replacement.
