The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in sound condition and ready to place. The marble with natural inclusions, some nicks and scattered 'nibbles', primarily to edges. With some very slight loss of definition, mostly to the frieze, due to weathering. With some light scattered staining consistent with age and use. With some small scattered restorations, including to the grapevine frieze, with some infilled repairs now somewhat discolored in areas. The lions mane on one side with a small loss, approximately 1 inch. Each with scattered restorations to the manes and with some associated infill material. The base with natural inclusions and some nicks and 'nibbles' to edges and corners. The plinth with some restorations around the lower edge and some slight discoloration.
