The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Structurally sound and ready to place. The marble with scattered surface nicks and scratches, natural inclusions, and minor 'nibbling' to edges. The shades with some light, expected surface abrasions and very minor chipping to the aperture where they fit on the columns. One shade with restored breaks and associated resin fill and overpainting on the stiff leaf decoration around the aperture. Some minor wear and rubbing to the bronze bases. Both marble bases with plugs likely where original electrical cord used to emerge, now rewired. The electric cluster original to the torcheres, although the bulb sockets are replaced.
